Sonia is a highly experienced Physiotherapist. Her level of care is second to none. Taking time to understand initially her clients condition and needs and then following up to ensure her treatment is supporting her client effectively. I have no hesitation in recommending Sonia to any potential client. First class all the way. Thank you so much Sonia.
Sonia was introduced to me via a nursing home in 2017.where I had been with problems in my mobility and I was hoist transferred from bed to chair and back. But regular therapy session with Sonia, has helped me to get my mobility back and I am back to my house from the nursing home. She is punctual and attentive to your progress. I highly recommend her to anyone.
Sonia worked intensively with me over a 5 week period. When I arrived, I had suffered a stroke and was in a wheelchair, unable to dress myself, sit up unaided or walk. Over the 5 weeks Sonia tirelessly worked with me 3 – 4 hour per day and never gave up motivating me to push harder to get results. We worked on core strength, coordination and muscle strengthening and stretching. By the time I left the clinic, I could sit up unaided and wash and dress myself again. I had also started to walk short distances with a walking aid and I was given exercises to continue at home. The results were amazing. I can honestly say that the physio I received from Sonia gave me my life back. I would highly recommend Sonia as a physio. She listens to you and works around any problems you may have, whilst ensuring you feel safe and supported to follow the best programme to aid your recovery. I wish I lived closer as I would be still meeting with her on a weekly basis.
Sonia’s approach is very gentle and holistic, which stands in contrast to some of the ‘sports’ physios out there. She listens to you and focuses on healing rather than pushing too hard. After my knee replacement, she brought her magic bag of tricks and used a combination of EMS, ultrasound, massage and taping to help reduce pain and swelling so I could focus on improving my range of motion. At the follow-up appointment with my surgeon, he said my recovery was 'better than they normally see'. I think that says it all. Thanks Sonia!
Sonia at Healing Hands is highly recommended! I've used many physios over the years but I've never been pain free as quickly as I was after visiting Sonia. I wouldn't hesitate in using her again. She was very accommodating when arranging appointments and kept in touch between appointments to see how I was getting on.
Sonia's treatment for my shoulder and elbow trouble is brilliant and has really helped me. Sonia always gives great advice and has helped me during the pregnancy and after the delivery. Her massages are therapeutic massage and relieve my pains. She always finds time to treat me when I need it. She is very nice and it is always a pleasure to have a session with her. Highly recommended.
Sonia was excellent and visited my father in his care home. She was very patient in dealing with all the extra complications in treating her patients during the Covid-19 restrictions. She comes highly recommended.
Sonia has done a truly amazing rehab job following my recent stroke. She has helped me to regain most of my lost movement in a very caring and motivational way. I strongly recommend Sonia to anyone unfortunate enough to have suffered from a similar problem.
When it comes to Physio Healing Hands I was amazed at how dedicated Sonia was to her clients/patients. She was very quick to set an appointment with me and constantly checked up on my progress days leading to the appointment and even afterwards. She was also very thorough during the appointment making sure that she has addressed all the issues with my injury.
After just the first visit with her , I noticed a very big difference on my injured foot and my only regret was not seeing her sooner!
Sonia is a pleasure to work with, firm but encouraging and always ready with helpful suggestions towards improving the situation. Very good indeed.
My husband (who was recovering from Radiotherapy) had a few physio sessions with Sonia and he found she was extremely patient and enjoyed the sessions very much as they were suitable for his situation. I would highly recommend her for physio she was also very knowledgeable in her subject.
After thirteen months in hospital I met Sonia who is a ray of sunshine, very professional and using her amazing skills very quickly put me on the road to recovery. I cannot recommend her highly enough. This lady is a true champion who is passionate and takes her work seriously.
I recommend had a knee issues for while start treatment with Sonya she knows a lot and has tons of experience. my knee starting go back to normal it’s worth every penny
I suffer with neck and shoulder problems, within just a few sessions I am feeling amazing and can really tell the difference. I would highly recommend Healing Hands to anyone who is stiff or sore. Very friendly service and lovely staff.
