Meet Bharathi Ganta, a highly qualified and experienced physiotherapist who has dedicated her professional life to helping patients achieve their physical goals and manage their conditions. Bharathi holds a Master of Physiotherapy from Apollo College of Physiotherapy, India, and a Master’s degree in Global Healthcare Management from Coventry University in the UK. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP).
Bharathi has extensive experience working in various clinical settings, including hospitals and clinics, both in India and the UK. Her previous roles include working as a Senior Physiotherapist at Sri Rama Healing Hastha in Hyderabad, India, where she worked independently, delivering physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and goal setting to a caseload of patients mainly involving MSK cases. She also worked as a First Contact Practitioner at King Edward VII Hospital & The Chapel Medical Center in Slough & Windsor, UK. Her primary role was to provide clinical expertise, act as the first-contact physiotherapist, and make decisions about the best course of action for patient care, including undifferentiated conditions.
Bharathi’s extensive experience also includes working as a MSK Physiotherapist at Ankerside Physiotherapy Clinic in Coventry, UK, where she made a clinical assessment and diagnosis to treat patients’ physical problems/conditions. She designed and reviewed clinical management plans that encourage exercise and movement using a range of techniques, including specialist rehabilitation, lifestyle medicine, long-term strategies, and clinical techniques.
Bharathi has a passion for helping people and strives to achieve their realistic goals. Her approach is to educate patients and modify goals to suit individual needs. She has experience in delivering programs of supported patient self-management in ways that facilitate behavioral change, optimize individual’s physical activity, mobility, fulfillment of personal goals, and independence while minimizing the need for pharmacological interventions.
As a Rehab Support Worker/Health Care Assistant at Sense Care in the UK, Bharathi worked with individuals with disabilities, providing assistance with daily activities, personal care, and medical care, as well as emotional support. Her role also involved assessing individuals’ requirements and developing a targeted assistance plan and working with additional specialists such as physicians and therapists.
